Faye Maliszewski

President, Co-Founder, AKC Evaluator, Head Trainer

Faye Maliszewski moved to Florida in 2010. Spending most of her time between work and rescuing dogs , she trained dogs for local rescues. Faye started back in Wisconsin training with search and rescue, she then turned to obedience. After attending a PTSD summit she began training with dogs that were pulled form high kill shelters and training them to be service dogs. Studying canine behavior and other training technics that bettered the classes they were hosting. she then became an AKC evaluator and now oversees the 4 other chapters of Wolfhounds Legacy. Her goal is to be at many locations through the Unites States to ensure that all veterans and first responders can get their service dogs in a timely manner. Anyone can train a dog and give it to a recipient , but are they going to know how to continue knowing what to do with their dog after they train for 2 weeks, we train them so they know their dog and the bond deepens. We have an obligation that when our men and women come back, to make sure we help them adjust back into every day life that they no longer know. Their dogs do this and we have witnessed this first hand. not only is the dog getting a second change, but so is our men and women. this is therapy for them to get out there and train with their dog. This is why we do what we do.
