Does your dog go from 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye? Do they run in circles after a bath or spin in dizzying circles when you come home?  Well then your dog has the Zoomies! Oh yes this is completely norma.  The term zoomies is used to describe those unmistakable explosions of energy.  These are really called Frenetic Random Activity Periods, or FRAPs, for us normal speaking folks!!  According to the AKC, zoomies often feature frantic repetitive behaviour, like runningnin circles. Dogs often hold on to excessive energy and then look out, or should I say get out of the way!

You might notice that certain situations trigger a zoomie, being released from their cratye after spending to much time in it! This is my favorite, after you give you pup a bath and release of boy look out!!! Many a room I have washed down or given them a bath again because they zoomed in the yard and dirt!!!!

Zoomies are a natural dog behavior that is often no room for alarm, however the AKC states constant zoomies can be a sign of boredom, stress or not getting enough mental stimulation. If you are like me just sit back and enjoy the show after they usually take naps!!!!!

I paraphased, alot no one writes like me!
